Baulkham Hills Council developed a former market garden area as the Bernie Mullane Reserve, which incorporates a major sports complex to service the newly developed surrounding residential areas. URS was engaged by Council to prepare the master plan and detailed documentation for the project. Noel Corkery project managed the site analysis, master planning and documentation of the development working with engineers and the architect responsible for design of the indoor sports centre.

The ‘greenfields’ site required an integrated planning and design process that addressed all environmental issues. A Master Plan was prepared for presentation to Council for approval following which detailed design and documentation were prepared within the designated budget.
